There seem to be an awful lot of ogunquit hotels and as I am trying to find one to stay in soon, I am finding it tricky knowing which one to choose. They all seem really good and I am tempted just to pick a random one or to stay at several just in case one is not so good as another! If you read the websites, they all say they are good and all of their features are great. The pictures look lovely too. Sometimes I wonder what to expect when I get to a place though as the pictures are not always an accurate representation as obviously they are of the very best rooms, which are not normally the ones that I can afford!
As I am on a tight budget, I have also been looking at ogunquit motels and really these are pretty good as well and all look pretty much the same as each other. I really do think that I will just pick the cheapest and see what it is like and then I will be able to save some money and hopefully get good value for money. The only way to tell is to book up and see.
I have just had a new food catalogue through from my local supermarket. They do catered food and also lovely cakes. I was looking through the cakes because I think they look pretty and they seemed to have something for every occasion that you could think of. Of course they had lots of birthday cakes for men and women and children. They had Christmas and Easter cakes and they had Mothers Day cakes. They had wedding cakes and bridal shower cakes and even baby shower cakes which I thought were delightful.
I am likely to be helping to organise one soon and so it is great t know that there are cakes available. In fact I really should be starting to think about the party and the things that I need to do as I have been asked to come up with some ideas with the food and also organise the baby shower decorations. I am not really sure where I would get those from and so I ought to start searching on line and see whether I can get any ideas. I am sure I will be able to find some nice things as there are bound to be some Internet sites selling pretty things.

is it okay to continue to cook them?
yea thats fine to cook it, when i defrost my chicken breasts I put them in cold water, it takes about 20 minutes but you know you wont be cooking the outside of the chicken.

If you cook them all the way through. I would bake them in a deep baking dish in the oven covered with foil on 350 for about 1 hour to 1 and 1/2 hours. Take the foil off for the last 15 min. In the future the best way to quickly defrost chicken is put it in a ice water bath. Fill large pan with ice water and submerge the chicken, keep adding ice as it melts. A average chicken should take about 3 hours. The ice water is warmer then the frozen chicken, but does not allow it to warm up to were bacteria grows.
I find that if I turn the heat down, it curls less. I also flip it more than once so that it cooks evenly. But, if you’re not a fan of hovering and flipping, try putting it on an ungreased baking sheet (lined with non-stick foil is great) in a 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes. The whole sheetful of bacon will come out nice and crispy and flatter than flat.
A recipe blog I really like is http://allsecretrecipes.blogspot.com
If I ordered two “frappuccini,” would the barista think I’m a pretentious nitwit?
Frappuccino isn’t a real word, it was actually made up by Starbucks as a combo of frappe and capuccino.
Trishalynn was totally wrong about that. If you were to go to Italy and expect frappuccino to be a real word, you’d look like an idiot.
Anyway, at work you’re technically supposed to say “Frappuccino blended coffee(s)/creme(s)” but we usually just say frappuccinos, since adding an “s” isn’t incorrect b/c it’s not a real word.
So if you were to order two “frappuccinis” the barista would probably think that you had no idea what you were ordering, or didn’t take the time to read the menu board.
Coke has a stronger, sharper flavour. Pepsi tastes like crap with added sugar. Coke has a better flavour, but it leaves a weird coating in your mouth and has a funky aftertaste
any recipes for this?
am unsure of how much olive oil to use, and what temperatures.
roasted peppers in olive oil
6 red bell peppers
1/2 bunch fresh oregano
2 cloves garlic, sliced
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Place the peppers directly onto the burners of a gas stove. Cook the peppers, turning frequently, until they are charred on all sides. Put the peppers into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let them steam for about 15 minutes. (If you do not have a gas stove preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Coat the peppers with some olive oil and place them on a baking sheet. Cook the peppers until they are soft and have collapsed, about 1 hour. Set the peppers aside until they are cool enough to handle.)
Peel, stem, and seed the peppers; cut them into wide strips. Place the warm pepper strips into a shallow serving dish. Top with the oregano, garlic, olive oil, and vinegar. Season them with salt and pepper and mix them gently to combine the flavors. Let them sit to cool and serve at room temperature.
I became vegetarian this week, and today i was diagnosed with depression and prescribed citalopram/counselling. My question is, am i more likely to get well on this better, healthier diet?
Don’t worry — millions and millions of people have depression. Sometimes your body just has trouble producing or re-absorbing seratonin (in your brain cells). There are many natural things you can do to help yourself get better without having to rely on medication.
Sometimes food can help. A vegetarian / natural diet might help you. Stay away from chemicals, additives, preservatives and dyes in your food. These can exacerbate depression and anxiety (which often go hand-in-hand).
Exercise does wonders for relieving depression. Studies have shown that exercise relieves depression BETTER than some antidepressants. So, in addition to putting healthier food into your body (and BRAVO to you for doing that!), get out and get some exercise… fitness walking, biking, running, swimming… everyday. You will feel tons better.

I don’t know how much being a vegetarian actually helps with depression, but I did find a site with some promising information:
“It came as a surprise to many that after one year it was the vegetarian group that not only felt better physically, but mentally as well. They had a decrease in depression and anxiety, fewer problems with stress, and improved interpersonal relationships…. Moreover, the incidence of both depression and anxiety has been found to be lower in vegetarians when compared to non-vegetarians.” http://www.beneficialfoods.com/vegetaria…

Citalopram is an antidepressant used to regulate serotonin, a neurotransmitter. Serotonin is one of the chemicals your brain uses to regulate your mood. Your diet shouldn’t have much effect on this, but I would discuss it with your therapist.
Take care of yourself and make sure your eating a ballanced diet.
FYI: to others on here. We are not her therapist.

Since this is a problem that you pretty well knew that you already had - I would mention to the doctor that your seeing about your diet choice. Better to be on the safe side with your mental health than not.
I had a lack of serotonin and took medication for it. I believe that you will find in a few weeks that you feel much better - it doesn’t get better overnight.
My doctors were in favor of me eating vegetarian - but I also didn’t take the same medication that your taking either - nor am I you. That is why I really would strongly suggest talking it over with the doctors. They are the ones that will be seeing to your care - not any of us on Yahoo Answers.
My best thoughts and wishes go out to you as you go thru this time in your life. It isn’t easy - and it does help when you know that there are others that are standing behind you willing to help you and be there. If you feel the need - feel free to drop a line any time. I don’t have all the answers - but great at listening and reading - also great at giving encouragement.
