If you are a US citizen, you do not need a visa, but you must have a valid US passport for a stay up to 90 days.
Be sure your passport does not expire just before, during or soon after your trip.

not if you’re a US citizen going there as a tourist for less than 90 days. if you’re going there to work or go to school or staying longer then that, then you will need a visa. it can take up to 6 months to get the visa, so make sure to plan ahead.
