If you want a project or a model, yes. If you want something that’s going to be a decent and reliable driver, then you’re gonna need closer to three months

$9.50 per hour (at full time) comes out to about $18K to $19K per year. You should be able to get some sort of financing (assuming your other expenses are within reason).

Using the math you supplied, you’d only make $997.5 in three weeks. If you have no other expenses, I think you can buy a decent used car somewhere

you might beable to put a down payment on a cheap car if you can find yourself a cosigner or if your credit is good.
but the real question is: how will you afford the gas and the insurance?
